No School Days
The Owl’s Nest will be offering No School Days to school-age children!
These are days when the Shawnee Mission School District is not in session due to spring or winter break, conferences and in-service.
Space will be limited. Enrollment is first come first serve, however those children enrolled in our Before and After Care Program will receive first priority, followed by our Summer Camp Kids and Little Owly’s Alum.
The cost per day is $65 per child with a 15% discount for siblings. Additional charges will include a one-time $40 registration fee for those children not registered in our Before and After Care or Summer Camp.
Children will need to provide their own lunch. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided.
The dates that Shawnee Mission is closed and No School Days will be offered are listed below. The dates The Owl’s Nest will be closed are also included.

Children must be registered one week prior to the scheduled No School Day.
Structured learning activities incorporating STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) will take place during our No School Days. A schedule with activities, and possibly a field trip or two, will be provided to parents of children enrolled during our seasonal breaks.
Days with less than 5 children enrolled will be subject to cancellation. Parents will be notified one week prior to the scheduled day.
